Best Cooling Fitted Sheets
Updated How we research
A cooling fitted sheet is the layer touching you all night, so a breathable fabric with deep, secure pockets makes a real difference for temperature. It helps hot sleepers, people with night sweats, and anyone whose sheet slips off a thick mattress by morning. Look for crisp percale cotton, bamboo viscose, or Tencel lyocell, all of which wick moisture and feel cooler than sateen or microfiber. Check the pocket depth against your mattress plus topper, and choose elastic that wraps all the way around for a snug fit. A moderate thread count of 200 to 400 in percale breathes better than a high-count sateen, so do not assume higher numbers mean cooler.
